Knights of Columbus are Catholic gentlemen committed to the exemplification of charity, unity, fraternity, patriotism, and defense of the priesthood. The Order is unequivocal in its loyalty to the Pope, the Vicar of Christ on earth. It is firmly committed to the protection of human life, from conception to natural death, and to the preservation and defense of the family. Brother Knights work to fulfill the central mission of the Order as envisioned by our founder, the Venerable Fr. Michael J. McGivney: striving in charitable works; serving the Church and unified in following its teachings; supporting brother Knights in their temporal and spiritual needs; acting for the good of their country; and giving aid to widows, orphans, the sick and the poor. The Knights at Holy Family
Knights of Columbus Council 11811 was established at Holy Family in June 1996 and has proudly served the parish and surrounding community ever since. From fundraisers for various charities to providing physical labor, we work hard to help those in need and keep both the parish and community strong. Our members are active in Church, Youth, Family, Community Service, Council, and Culture of Life activities.
Regular activities include spring and fall fundraisers for the mentally impaired (the “Tootsie Roll” drives), parish breakfast buffets, Christmas party for the Manor of Novi, the Greg Jonesku Memorial Scholarship Golf Outing, and donations to seminarians. Check out our Activities page for current and upcoming events.
